pampas- huge dog fish jumped out of the water on our way to the camp on the first day and hit me in the back, then flapped around on the floor until chris smashed the life out of it. later, we snacked on it
- rich and jamie, compelled by drunken courage, went swimming in black cayman, pirahna, snake, etc infested water by the light of the moon.
- hanging out in hammocks
- our guide wrangled an alligator in the dark then let us pick it up
- caught a few small fish, including a pirahna, which confused and freaked me out, then i followed rich´s barbaric instruction and stabbed it through the face
- overcame my rational (as far as im concerned) fear of swimming in the amazon and had a quick dip. tried to get pink dolphins to swim around me but they weren´t having any of it.
- slept in a mosquito net; it felt like my own little tent and protector
- good food, big beers, shit juice

- back of the bus flooded with hot water and smoke just 45 minutes after departure, got my daypack, blanket, socks all wet.
